How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Krusty Slarce

Introduction

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Krusty Slarce Client Area by requiring a verification code along with your password. This guide explains how to enable 2FA to protect your account.

Steps to Enable 2FA

1. Log in to Your Krusty Slarce Client Area

2. Navigate to Security Settings

  • Click on your profile name at the top-right.
  • Select Security Settings from the dropdown.

3. Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  • Locate the Two-Factor Authentication section.
  • Click Enable 2FA.

4. Set Up Your Authenticator App

  • Install an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy on your phone.
  • Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using your authenticator app.

5. Enter the Verification Code

  • The app generates a six-digit code.
  • Enter this code into the verification field and click Confirm.

6. Save Backup Codes

  • You’ll receive a set of backup codes in case you lose access to your authenticator app.
  • Store these codes safely.

7. Complete the Setup

  • Click Activate to finalize the setup.
  • Next time you log in, you’ll be required to enter a 2FA code from your app.

Additional Notes

  • If you lose access to your authenticator app, use your backup codes to log in.
  • To disable 2FA, return to the Security Settings page and follow the removal process.
